Special K: This weekend I’m watching Exorcist I and II, and a new documentary about what went wrong with Exorcist II. I watched E II last night and was surprised to see the music was by Morricone.

b1-66er: Yeah. He shows up in weird places. (I believe he did The Thing and Hateful 8 as well, just to name a couple off the top of my head.)

I'm interested to hear what you think of the doc.

K: I’m planning to watch tonight and will let you know.

The movie itself was amazingly bad. Visual style was fine but plot, script, and acting direction were weird and bad. Also Linda Blair was disturbingly hot.

b1: Disturbingly hot is its own form of possession.

Special K: ...Speaking of my brother, that’s why I’m in Denver. Transfer the title of his car (which I now own) and tell the nursing home to fucking stop sending me bills because they already drained his every cent.

b1-66er: What kinda car?

K: Recent model Prius.

b1: ¿¡REALLY!? 

That's totally unexpected. I'm retrospect, that vehicle may be his best trait. 

(& I hate having to make him seem better in my mind.)

K: BTW he wanted his epitaph to read “Big fat tires and everything” (a quote from Highway Star by Deep Purple). And he wanted a picture of a 1957 Buick Special Riviera on there too.

K: I didn’t know it at all. 

b1: It's a cool car in the 

'57 Chevy 

sense of the word. But it makes me wonder if he was confusing that. 

Which allows me to reset hating on him. 

Which helps realign my stars. 

And that's is a good thing.

How were the travels?

(Did you have any border/nationality problems?)

DH: No border issues. Shitty flight home (cramped crowded flight). Guadalajara not particularly great, Ajijic on Lake Chapala was quaint and pretty nice. Had the best churro of my life which was the highlight of the trip 

b1: So well said. 

A truly great churro can make an entire life worthwhile.
