b1-66er: These are the salsa bar choices from Fredericos in Albuquerque... Just down the street from our (former Route 66) motel.
All store made. All notable.
...But THE ONE to bear down on here is the mole in the upper right...
When you go to eat it, the first thing you notice is the smell of chocolate. Pretty strong. I mean Mike HAS chocolate in it, sure, but it's not the first thing you notice before you even put it in your mouth.
And then it is hot hot hot. Really hot.
So hot, that The Accomplice would only use a drop or two at a time as she ate. She was STUNNED that I kept going back to after I started, thinly lining the edges of my carnitas quesadilla.
The flavor lasts for a couple minutes after eating and it kinda unwraps its contents on your tongue and perception over time.
As the heat starts to back down you get some deep chocolate, a probably a combination of some peppers I'm unsure of (chipotle maybe?) and some cinnamon.
The addictive quality indicates it may have heroin as well.
And then AGAIN, about a minute after you eat it, you want some more.
